Greetings and welcome to my art website! Although it's been a number of years since I've created any art, and this site is a bit outdated, I felt it was important to at least update a few of the pages in case you're interested in seeing what I've done and possibly make a purchase. These collections of originals and prints chronicle a very important period in my life and one in which I'm very grateful for. The images are still as significant to me today as they were when I first created them.

Leaving my first "real job" at the ripe young age of 21, to embarked on a career as an artist in which I knew nothing about and never trained for, was daunting to say the least. However, I felt it was what I was supposed to do. So with the wonderful support of my mom and dad, I set out on a journey of drawing and painting that would take me places I never dreamed I would go, and to destinations that would change how I viewed the world, and embraced and lived life. It also ended up taking me to where I live.

So as you browse these pages you will see for yourself this journey I've been on. You'll see my growth as an artist, and the mediums I used as I traveled along my paths. You'll also see images inspired by the destinations – from nature in my own backyard to exotic locales in far-off lands. And you will read and see pictures of my largest creative work – a hand-built studio and gallery that is now my amazing and cozy home.

Another reason for updating this site is due to a renaissance of sorts of the muse that's been dormant for over seven years now. And although I've been creative in another genre of art during that time, my desires to draw and paint are stirring. Maybe this update is just a way to renew interest in the past. Maybe it's just a needed update. But I'm thinking and feeling that it could quite possibly be a step back in order to step forward on a journey that started years ago.
